Complete refurbishment of a listed semi detached London Villa in Maida Vale.
The proposal involved opening up the existing basement to create a light and open plan basement for family living with a modern Bulthaup kitchen. The remaining 4 storey’s of the building were fully refurbished and designed to maximize the use of the existing spaces and introduce new modern bathrooms.
Many existing and traditional details were retained and used in the new scheme to reflect the historic nature of the building.
A new roof terrace opening from the top floor was designed to open up the floor to light.
